Conferences
Together with Valentine Millot I have organized a Workshop on Trade Marks and Trade Mark Data that was held at OECD on the 16th & 17th of July 2009. The workshop was financed by STRIKE, GESY and OECD. The program, papers and presentations are available here.
I organized a Workshop on the Economic Analysis of Trade Marks and Brands (pdf 50KB) at the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) in Alicante, Spain on the 5th and 6th of June 2008. The workshop was financed through STRIKE. Program and presentations are available here.
Research and consulting projects
Teaching
- I have closely supported the following doctoral students who have completed their thesis at INNO-tec: Martin Heibel and Philipp Sandner. I am currently supporting Silvia Appelt, Richard Weber and Robert Redweik.
- In 2008/2009 I taught the main introductory course for PhD students at Munich School of Management together with Professor Reiner Leidl.
- I regularly teach courses on industrial organization and analysis of competition for economics and business studies students at all levels.
- I regularly teach courses on innovation management at the bachelor and master level.
- I have taught a course on Innovation Policy at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) for several years.
- In 2008 I taught a course on the Economics of Trademarks at the ESSID Summer School held in Monte St. Angelo, Italy.
